Vigil held for Paris attacks
Rexburg’s Porter Park was filled with lighta candlelight vigil to honor the lives lost in the terrorist attacks in Paris. More than 40 people shared a moment of silence and a hymn for families who lost loved ones. Parisian and organizer of the vigil, Benjamin Ploquin, watched the tragedy unfold while talking to his parents via Skype.
“Just so France knows that we care, that we support them, we want to fight with them,” he said. “I just wanted the people of Rexburg to have a little place to come and feel a sense of community and mourn together.”
