Woman arrested for forgery, grand theft during traffic stop

Idaho Falls Police arrested 49-year-old Tracey L. Floyd on a warrant for forgery and grand theft during a traffic stop early Thursday morning.

Floyd of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to the police report, officers stopped a vehicle at 4th Street and South Boulevard around 2:45 a.m. for a traffic violation. During the stop, the driver, Floyd, was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for forgery and grand theft.

The warrant stems from a case reported in August where Floyd fraudulently used a Home Depot credit card to make about $2,000 in purchases.
