Wreck in Pocatello sends two to hospital

A pickup truck rear-ended an SUV around 5:40 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Hilline Road and Griffith Road by Syringa Elementary.

Emergency responders from the Pocatello police and fire departments were on-scene, officers from the Chubbuck Police Department also responded to the crash.

Both lanes on Hilline Road were blocked off as emergency crews worked on the crash. The driver of the pickup and a passenger from the SUV were transported to Portneuf Medical Center via ground ambulance. A Pocatello police officer on-scene said they didn’t have any serious injuries.

Pocatello police will continue to investigate the crash.
