Bonneville School District 93 bond passes

Bonneville School District 93’s $35 million dollar bond passed with 71.7% of voters in favor. It needed 66.67% to pass.

The bond will allow the district to build a new middle school to alleviate crowding at its other two middle schools. The new middle school will be built by the new Thunder Ridge High School opening this fall.

The bond will also replace the roof at Iona Elementary School, create safety improvements for Falls Valley Elementary as well as purchase land for future school sites. It would also consist of design work for upgrades to Bonneville High School and Hillcrest High School.
