One person hurt in Idaho Falls crash

UPDATE: 6:30 p.m.

Idaho State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash eastbound on US 26 near milepost 337 in Idaho Falls.

Keagan Huffman, 18, of Rigby was driving east on US 26 in a 2000 Ford Focus.

Huffman tried to make a left turn onto North 25th East, but failed to yield to traffic.

Kathryn Stewart, 67, of Idaho Falls was driving west on US 26 in a 2004 Mercedes C240 and hit Huffman’s vehicle.

Stewart was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls by ambulance.

According to Idaho State Police, Stewart was wearing a seatbelt, but Huffman was not.

One person was hospitalized in a crash on North Yellowstone at 25th East in Idaho Falls Monday afternoon.

A Ford collided with a Mercedes Benz in the east bound lane. The driver of the Mercedes was transported to the hospital.

Multiple agencies were investigating the crash, which slowed traffic in all directions.
