Open house set to review Rigby Impact Area
After months of negotiation, Jefferson County and the City of Rigby have come to agreement on new boundaries for the city’s “area of impact.”
Under the agreement, people who live within the area may fall under new development requirements.
Jefferson Couinty Planning and Zoning Commission Chairman Tyrone Belnap says the commission will hold an open house Tuesday night to brief the public and receive public comments on the plan.
That meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Jefferson School District Board Room at 3850 E. 300 N. in Rigby.
