Bear World powers through the rain to celebrate Easter

The bears are out of hibernation and celebrating Easter this weekend.

Yellowstone Bear World hosted 2019 Easter egg hunt. Where children were able to win a little more than just candy.

They had a chance to win fudge, money, and other Bear World gift shop prizes.

Owners were a bit worried that the rain would stop people from coming, but over a thousand children came out to participate.

Courtney Ferguson, president of Bear World said, “It’s springtime and it has been a great Easter weekend. We are excited to have our Easter egg hunt during the opening weekend.”

Yellowstone Bear World has hosted Easter egg hunts in the past but this is the first year it has been able to hold the event during their first week of re-opening.
