Woman in critical condition after Bannock County crash
An Aberdeen woman was transported to Portneuf Regional Medical Center after a crash on Rio Vista Road and Lacey Road, northwest of Chubbuck at around 7:40 p.m. Thursday.
Idaho State Police said Jole Wright, 27, of American Falls was pulling a trailer with a 2005 Ford F250 pickup westbound on Lacey Road. ISP said he failed to stop at the intersection and struck a 2012 Volkswagen. Sadie Nugent, 20, of Aberdeen was southbound on Rio Vista Road.
Both vehicles left the road. Nugent was ejected from the Volkswagen. She was listed in critical condition at PMC this morning.
Wright was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
