Fireplace ignites boxcar in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK)- Flames broke out inside a railcar around noon Saturday afternoon on Arco Highway. We are told a fireplace inside sparked the blaze. Firefighters tell us the railcar was being used for storage and a workshop.

It took IFFD about 30 minutes to put out the fire with two engines, a water tender and a battalion chief. No injuries were reported.
