UK police release man questioned in London teacher’s death
LONDON (AP) — London police have released a 38-year-old man who was arrested in the killing of primary school teacher Sabina Nessa. Authorities are continuing to appeal for information in her slaying. Nessa, who was 28, was found dead in a park in London’s Kidbrooke area on Sept. 17. Detectives believe she was attacked during what would have been a five-minute walk to meet a friend at a pub. Police said late Thursday they had arrested a man in connection with her murder but said Friday they released him under investigation. Nessa’s killing has renewed concerns that women are not safe on the city’s streets. A vigil in her memory is planned for later Friday.
