JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli authorities say that a suspected Palestinian attacker has killed an Israeli woman and seriously wounded a man in the occupied West Bank. The military said the gunman fled, setting off a large-scale search by Israeli security forces. Monday’s fatal shooting came two days after Palestinian attackers shot and killed an Israeli father and son while they were getting their car washed in another area of the West Bank. Meanwhile, official Palestinian media reported that eight Palestinians were wounded in an Israeli army raid Monday. The violence was part of a sharp escalation in the region in recent months involving Palestinian militants, Israeli security forces and radical Jewish settlers.
