Tracking a frozen morning with patchy fog possible and seasonal temps for the week and mainly dry

We've got a weak low that is moving through here that will bring a weak threat of precipitation. This is for the southeastern part of the state, much like we were discussing yesterday into Soda and Montpelier. And then another weak low will move through the panhandle on Thursday, and that's going to bring a threat of precip to us by Thursday and Thursday night.

The flow shifts westerly to southwesterly on Sunday, and we will warm up to above average temperatures.

So today, with a closed upper-level low along the California coast, it'll break down the upper-level ridge that has been dominating the weather, and during the day tomorrow, it's going to move through here and give us a slight chance for some showers.

We begin the morning with right around 40 degrees, some patchy fog can't be ruled out, light winds, and areas of fog into the morning with clouds, then becoming sunny and a high around 49. Tonight, mostly cloudy, low 31 for Election Night.

It'll be cloudy through mid-morning tomorrow, then it clears up. We'll hit right around 50 degrees. Wednesday, patchy fog into the evening on the nighttime hours and 30 degrees.

So there's a slight chance of rain and snow showers on Thursday, more rain in the afternoon, and you may have some fog too, but partly sunny and 45.

The chance of showers is very limited at 20 percent. By Friday, it'll be mostly sunny and in the upper 40s. Overnights right around 30, below freezing, and sunshine for Saturday and Sunday.

We get back to the mid-50s by Monday and partly sunny conditions.
