Semi-truck crash in Blackfoot

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 5:35 p.m Idaho State Police have released information on the crash in Moreland March 1, 2022, at 9:10 a.m. on US26 near milepost 302.5, in Moreland.

A Male driver traveling in a Honda CR-V crossed the center line and collided with a Peterbilt semi-truck hauling potatoes.

The driver of the semi was a 43-year-old male from Blackfoot.

The driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance.

Original: At around 8 a.m. Tuesday, Idaho State Police responded to a semi-truck crash along US 26 near Blackfoot.

A black sedan crashed into the side of a semi-truck according to Idaho State Police Troopers.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown.

Road conditions were clear along US 26 at the time of the crash.
