D91 students explore local careers

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – On Monday, Idaho Falls School District 91 hosts its' annual Career Fair. This gives students the opportunity to look into local careers.

All sophomores and juniors in D91 schools were able to attend.

More than 120 local businesses, companies and organizations were there to teach students about jobs and careers to help them find a pathway to success after graduation.

The district decided it would be a good idea to hold the career fair before these students register for their Fall 2024 classes. College and Career Advisor Natalie Black says, "Students can find out what kinds of careers they're interested in and what what high school classes they can take to get them prepared to go into that field."

Black also says a great way for these students to get their foot in the door now is to start connecting with employers now. This was just another reason holding the Career Fair is so important for the students.
