CEI celebrates top ranked Practical Nursing program in Idaho

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The College of Eastern Idaho is celebrating after one of its programs was dubbed number one in the Gem state.

The school's practical nursing program is officially the top ranking program in all of Idaho.

Practicalnursing.org recently ranked all of the states 8 approved LPN schools.

They gave CEI an over all score of 99 beating out schools like Idaho State University, Carrington College and College of Western Idaho.

The success is attributed to its 100% first-time NCLEX pass rate over the past 5 years.

CEI graduates over 100 nursing students per year in all of their credit nursing programs. Through their Workforce Training, CEI also offers a Certified Nursing Assistant program to round out it’s program.

In the state of Idaho, the role of a licensed practical nurse offers a promising employment outlook. As per the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the industry is projected to witness a 9% growth through 2029, emphasizing the increasing demand for skilled LPNs.

Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2024 to get accepted into the LPN program for the Fall 2024 Semester.
