How to avoid problems with your snow blower this season

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – Snow blowers are a more efficient alternative than shoveling to clear snow from sidewalks and driveways, but that doesn't mean it's always easier, unless you properly care for it.

"Make sure you're using good gas. Don't run ethanol gas. If it's old gas, you probably want to toss it and get new gas," Action Motor Sports general manager Dutch said.

He also encourages those with blowers to get them serviced regularly and often check the auger, or paddles, that actually push the snow.
