Sugar City museum now has a location

SUGAR CITY, Idaho (KIFI) - The Sugar City Historical Society is one step closer to building its own museum.

The society is trying to raise funds to build the museum, and now, there is a place to put it.

In the most recent Sugar City Council meeting, the city agreed to deed over the property south of Center Street on the west side of Railroad Avenue.

The property was originally given back to the city from the railroad company.

The city and historical society need to take some extra steps to make sure the county is good with it.

The historical society says it is excited with the news because the original train depot is near the donated property.
