Woman arrested after crashing into Idaho Falls building

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – The former Idaho Canvas Products Company building on the intersection of Yellowstone Avenue and Lomax Street now has a giant hole in it after a car crashed into its side.

The Idaho Falls Police Department arrested 32-year-old Jazzmynn McCann for driving under the influence and crashing into the building.

Police say they got the call on Sunday night around 11:26 p.m.

They say McCann was turning onto Yellowstone from Lomax, didn't fully make the turn and hit the building. It did not fully enter the building. The car made contact with its passenger side.

There was no mention of injuries during the arrest.

The estimated damage has not yet been determined.
