AARP Foundation provides free tax preparation services
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - You can get free tax preparation assistance across Idaho through AARP Foundation's Tax-Aide program.
You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service, and all Tax-Aide volunteers are IRS-certified.

Tax-Aide has several options for providing taxpayer assistance including in-person, drop off service, no site visit, facilitated self-assistance and more but each site varies how volunteers can deliver this service.
Tax-Aide provides tax preparation assistance services nationwide. For the 2023 tax season, more than 26,000 volunteers served more than 1.6 million taxpayers, 920,000 of whom were adults over 50 with low income.
