DRIGGS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - Teton Valley philanthropists Jeanine and John Cushman have donated $20,000 to Teton Valley Aquatics. It is the largest individual gift Teton Valley Aquatics has received since it was formed in 2017, with the goal of building an aquatic facility in Teton Valley.

John Cushman is Chairman of the Board of Cushman and Wakefield, Inc. and serves as Chairman of Global Transactions. "We believe in the mission of Teton Valley Aquatics," said Cushman. "Our hope is that our gift will inspire others to give to Teton Valley Aquatics."

"The Cushman's have provided a real jump start to Teton Valley Aquatics' end of year campaign. We're so pleased they share our vision of an aquatic facility here in Teton Valley," said Wray Landon, Board Chair, Teton Valley Aquatics.

The group is currently conducting an end-of-year fundraising campaign.

"We are grateful for the Cushman Family's generous support of Teton Valley Aquatics in 2020. This incredible generosity embraces our community and vision for a healthier and safer Teton Valley, " said Executive Director Katie McNamara.

Teton Valley Aquatics will start the new year with a new Winter Sports Learn-to-Swim program. A community presentation of the Aquatic Facility Feasibility Study is scheduled February 3, 2020.
