Community rallies around each other for Turkey Day

EASTERN IDAHO (KIFI)- Thanksgiving has finally arrived and everyone remembers all the reasons they have to be grateful, and for many Thursday that includes their community.

Communities around Eastern Idaho are finding ways to support each other for the holiday, with many local restaurants and organizations opening their doors to the masses to have more than just relatives at the table but chosen community families.

In Fremont County, the St. Anthony and Ashton Lions Clubs are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner from 11 am to 2 pm at South Fremont Junior High School, located at 550 N 1st W.

In Idaho Falls, the Salvation Army is hosting a dinner at the Elks Lodge at 640 E Elva Street. From 11 am-2 pm.

In Pocatello Aid for Friends and the Refuge Shelters will be hosting Thanksgiving dinners as well.

Including Puerto Vallarta as well.
