Lori Vallow-Daybell files amended appeal of murder convictions
FREMONT COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) — Lori Vallow-Daybell's attorney filed an amended appeal Wednesday regarding her murder convictions.
The appeal filed by Craig H. Durham asks for transcripts from 35 days over the course of her years-long legal proceedings.
It also lists 16 issues attorneys intend to raise. The first states, "Did the court err in its order dated April 11, 2022, wherein the court found that the defendant, after spending 10 months in a mental hospital, was competent to stand trial?"

Vallow-Daybell was found guilty back in May by an Ada County jury on charges related to the deaths of her two children JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan along with the the death of Tammy Daybell who was Chad Daybell's first wife.
Chad Daybell faces similar charges.
His trial is set to begin in Ada County on April 1 of next year.
