National Voter Registration Day at Idaho State University

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) – Tuesday, Sept. 20 is National Voter Registration Day.

The League of Women Voters of Pocatello is at Idaho State University Tuesday allowing students to "Register to vote and be heard!"

Students will get to register to vote on campus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The League of Women Voters wants to encourage young people to vote.

In part of those efforts, this organization has partnered with Babe Votes, an organization in Boise, working to get young people that are interesting in voting involved.

The League of Women Voters of Pocatello are making more stops within the community throughout the rest of this year and next to empower voters.

Those who want to know their personal voting information can head to Vote 411, or scan the QR code.

To register to vote online, click HERE.

October 14th is the deadline to register to vote in person or electronically. After that, registering can only done at the polls on election day.
