South Fremont holds off American Falls in 3A playoffs

REXBURG, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - South Fremont advanced to the quarterfinals of the 3A State Playoffs by beating America Falls, 27-23 at Madison High School in Rexburg.

The Cougars battled off American Falls' triple-option attack in the second half. The Beavers took a 7-7 tie into halftime with a good portion of possession time in the first half.

South Fremont hosts Gooding on Friday, October 6, at Bobcat Stadium.
