Bees sweep Diamondbacks to conclude regular season

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Bonneville took both games of a double header against Century on senior day Friday. The Bees won the first game 13-8 and the second game 6-5.

It was a balanced effort offensively for Bonneville in game one. The Bees got 2 RBI each from Lilo Cortez, Teegan Bird, Ty Martinson, and Riley Bowman. Century was led by Jett Anderson and Tyler Schell's 2 RBI's each. Schell and Gabe Grimmett each had three hits.

Bowman and Dayton Robison each provided 2 RBI each in game two for Bonneville. Jacob Perez struck out 10 batters in just four innings for the Bees. Ben Cook knocked in a pair for Century.

Bonneville moves on to the 4A District 6 tournament as the three seed. The Bees face Blackfoot in a best of three series starting with a double header on Thursday.

Century has one more game left in its regular season. The Diamondbacks travel to Madison in a non-conference game on Saturday.
