Bees sweep Knights to claim district title

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Bonneville swept rival Hillcrest Tuesday to win the 4A District 6 baseball championship. The Bees won the first game 4-1 and then took the second game of the double header 10-4.

Next up for Bonneville is the champion from District 4 in the opening round of the 4A state tournament on May 20. Hillcrest will play a team from District 3 in at state play-in game Saturday at 1 pm at Twin Falls High School.

The 4A state tournament will be held at Skip Walker Field on the campus of the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.
