Chukars return to the field in exhibition loss to Boise

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The 2021 Idaho Falls Chukars took the field for the first time Wednesday night in a 10-2 exhibition loss to new league rival Boise. It was the first game action for the Chukars since clinching the Pioneer League title in 2019. A lot has changed since then.

The Chukars will officially open their first season as an independent team Saturday at home against Billings. They will play one more exhibition game against the Hawks Thursday night in Boise in preparation.
