Idaho State takes over first place in Big Sky with win over Southern Utah

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - With a chance to move up to first place in the Big Sky standings, the Idaho State women's basketball team came out hungry and motivated and dominated Southern Utah 80-60.

Diaba Konate led the Bengals in scoring with 19 points. Estefania Ors had 18 and Dora Goles had 15 as well, including four made threes.

As a team, ISU went 32-55 from the field for impressive 54.2% field goal percentage.

The Bengals (12-6, 8-1) return to Reed Gym on Thursday night to take on Sacramento State.
