Wood River player Andrew Emerson shines in Pocatello Legion game

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Pocatello Rays defeated the Wood River Spurs 10-6 on Saturday at Halliwell Park.

But it was Wood River's Andrew Emerson who was the MVP.

Emerson, who is diagnosed with Down syndrome, got to make plays as a right fielder and made contact and drew a walk in two late appearances.
