Former local standouts host football camp for kids

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) â€“ On Saturday, a QB, WR and DB camp was held at the Portneuf Wellness Complex in Pocatello and at Skyline High School in Idaho Falls.

Middle and high school players got instruction from four area standouts, including former NFL and ISU corner D.J Clark, former Arena League and ISU receiver Eddie Thompson, former CFL and ISU player Emery Beckles and former Century quarterback Nate Manning.

"When I was younger, we didn't have camps or anything that we attended," Clark said "And so just to be able to give them the tools and the knowledge that we had when we first came into college, and to be able to give that to them at the high school level is huge."
