Skyline falls to Stansbury in opener

REXBURG, Idaho (KIFI) - The Skyline Grizzlies opened the 2022 season with a 68-42 loss over Stansbury (UT) on Friday night in Rexburg.

Despite the loss, the Grizzlies' offense played strong. QB Lachlan Haacke finished the night going 11 of 22 for 188 yards and three touchdown.

Caden Taggart had six catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns and Oregon commit Kenyon Sadiq had an impressive showing, with a 76-yard touchdown reception and an 85-yard punt return for a score.

The Grizzlies (0-1) are back in action on Friday against the Highland Rams in their home opener.
