ISU takes home multiple first place finishes in Bengal Invitational

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - This past weekend, Idaho State hosted the Bengal Invitational at Davis Field.

Two Bengals dominated in the throwing competition.

Axel Tirado-Sanchez finished first and Zach Ramos finished second in the discus, and Ramos finished first and Tirado-Sanchez finished second in the shot put.

The Bengals would also dominate in the men's high jump, with Owen Mitchell taking home first, Michael Shulikov taking home second and Ethan Garrett finishing in fourth place.

Other winners on Saturday included Zachary Cox in the men's 110 meter hurdles, and Niklas Uth in the men's 400 meter hurdles.
