Idaho State falls to Weber State at home 33-21

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - After splitting back-to-back games on the road, the Idaho State Bengals returned to Holt Arena on Saturday, falling to Weber State 33-21.

The second quarter proved to be a killer for the Bengals, with Wildcat quarterback Richie Munoz throwing for three touchdowns in the period.

Hunter Hays brought the Bengals to 21-7 with a rushing touchdown in the third, but a strip sack of Hays for a touchdown early in the fourth would be a the final blow.

Jordan Cooke threw for a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns to make the final score respectable, with one going to Cyrus Wallace and the other to Alfred Jordan Jr.

The Bengals are back at Holt Arena next Saturday to face UC Davis at 4 p.m. in their final home game of the season.
