IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – The Bonneville Bees defeated the Blackfoot Broncos 21-13 Friday night, rallying from a second-quarter deficit to earn the victory, their first over the Broncos since 2023.

Blackfoot built a 7-0 lead before Bonneville senior quarterback Jaxton Briggs scored on a touchdown run in the second quarter. The extra point tied the score at 7-7.

Blackfoot responded on its next drive, converting on third-and-long when quarterback Parker Wright rolled to his right and completed a pass to Briggs Esplin for a first down. On the following play, Wright connected with Esplin again, this time for a touchdown to give Blackfoot a 13-7 lead.

Bonneville answered by scoring 14 unanswered points to overcome the six-point deficit and secure the win. The Bees take on the Pocatello Thunder next, and Blackfoot will go up against 2-2 Idaho Falls.
