IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – 1A Watersprings earned its second win of the season on Friday when they took down the Saint Joseph Jayhawks from Utah at home. The Warriors won 72-43, good for the most points they've scored this season. A sequence in the first quarter provided Watersprings with an offensive spark.

Already up 8-0, Watersprings faced a fourth down at midfield. Quarterback Sean Perry heaved a ball downfield that was intercepted by St. Joseph's Quinn Cousineau-Vasquez. The Watersprings defense held their own the next drive, getting the ball back for their offense. That's when Perry broke off a long rushing touchdown. After a 2-point conversion, the Warriors lead 16-0. They would go on to win 72-43. Watersprings' next game will be on September 25th at 4 PM.
