Teton Timberwolves earn first victory of the season with 26-7 win

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) – The Teton Timberwolves earned their first victory of the season with a 26-7 win over the Snake River Panthers.

Teton held a 12-0 lead at halftime before Snake River cut the deficit to five points in the second half. The Timberwolves subsequently answered to secure the 19-point victory.

Coming out of halftime, Teton quarterback Dax Woolley connected on a long pass to Drew Moss for a significant gain to keep their opening drive alive.

Snake River responded on defense moments later, when Owen Jones read a screen play and intercepted the pass, placing the Panthers offense in Teton territory.

The Panthers executed a methodical, run-heavy drive to the goal line, which ended with Colt Baron scoring on a quarterback keeper. Following the successful point-after, Snake River narrowed the deficit to 12-7 before Teton pulled away to secure the win.
