Ririe Bulldogs defeat Salmon Savages 28-12 to earn second straight win

RIRIE, Idaho (KIFI) – The Ririe Bulldogs now have themselves back to back wins after defeating the Salmon Savages tonight at home. The 28-12 victory came off the back of a strong offensive first half from the Bulldogs, which saw them take a 16-0 lead.

On Salmon's opening drive of the second half, they got the ball moving. A few big chunk plays for the Savages got them over midfield. Then they found themselves with a 4th down, and elected to go for it. The Ririe defense stepped up, making a huge stop and turning them over on downs.

The Ririe offense then led a drive that carried over into the fourth quarter. It was capped off by a touchdown pass from Dylan Landon to Bryce Barber to extend the lead. Ririe goes on to win 28-12.

The Bulldogs wrap up their season on October 23rd against the Firth Cougars, and the Salmon Savages will wrap things up against North Fremont that same day.
