EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Shamar Givance had 18 points as Evansville narrowly defeated Illinois State 56-53. Noah Frederking added 14 points and seven rebounds on Sunday for the Purple Aces, who forced a season-high 21 turnovers.. Antonio Reeves led the Redbirds with 23 points.
