Fryer leads Texas A&M-CC into Southland championship game

KATY, Texas — Simeon Fryer had 20 points as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi defeated Nicholls State 71-64 in the semifinals of the Southland Conference tournament. Terrion Murdix had 13 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for the Islanders. Latrell Jones led the Colonels with 20 points.
