Sermon Service & Electric Student-Athlete of the Week – Brianna Reynolds – April 13th, 2025
BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) – This week's Sermon Service & Electric Student-Athlete of the Week is a pitcher on the Blackfoot Broncos' Softball Team. Brianna Reynolds was nominated by a viewer for two stellar performances on the mound versus Bonneville High School.
"I think pitching was great," Reynolds told me. "...I was having my catcher throw for me. First time we had done that in a while. We were just hitting spots really well."
Throughout two games versus Bonneville Reynolds registered 26 strikeouts, and allowed just 8 hits and 1 earned run.
"our offense was super active... so everyone was getting on base scoring," Brianna explained. "So I felt like my team was really backing me up out there. Like I was able to go throw, get a few outs so that we could just hit for a while and that just took that pressure off, really."
As of today, April 13th, the Blackfoot Broncos sit at a 12-3 record, and are 4-0 in conference play. Brianna has been quite the contributor to the team's success. According to Maxpreps.com, Reynolds leads the team in multiple statistics, including Batting Average, Earned Run Average, Hits, Slugging Percentage, and Doubles.
Congratulations to our Sermon Service & Electric Student-Athlete of the Week Brianna Reynolds of Blackfoot High School.
