Harsin wants to play this fall but understands safety comes first

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - If Boise State head football coach Bryan Harsin had it his way, the Broncos would be playing football this fall.

There were some rumors of Boise State going against the Mountain West decision, but Harsin says it wasn't possible.

"The decision was a Mountain West decision," Harsin said. "I asked the question, 'Was there anything that we can do?', and you kind of come down to just Boise State right now. What can Boise State do? We're a part of the Mountain West and the decision was made so it applies to us, and so it didn't go any further than that."

"Do we try to go do this do we try to go do that, and, you know, man, do I feel that way? What would I like to (play) do that? Sure. But at the end of the day when you go back through and you have the conversation of why we did what we did, that ended right there. Now we need to move forward with the plan that we have."
