Rigby stays undefeated in 5A conference play with 68-56 win at Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Rigby Trojans stayed perfect in 5A conference play Tuesday night with a 68-56 victory on the road at Idaho Falls.

After the Tigers made it a two-point game to start the second half, the Trojans began to pull away with a nice fast break finish from Kobe Jones.

Next up, Rigby travels to Bonneville Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. while Idaho Falls hosts Hillcrest Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Also of note, at halftime, former Idaho Falls Tiger and 2021 Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year Jaxon Sorenson announced he will donate his monetary winnings from the honor to the school to the baseball portion of the new Tiger Athletic Complex.
