New Thunder Ridge Football Coach Michael Berger excited to get started with the Titans

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The next head coach of the Thunder Ridge Titans football team is ready to make a name for himself. Michael Berger is excited to get rolling with the Titans and also thankful to his dad Scott, the longtime head coach of the Skyline Grizzlies, for helping him get to this point.

"I grew up a coach's kid," Berger said. "I've always been in the gym, out on the football field, that's all I know. So I just saw how much enjoyment that he got from. being a teacher, a coach. He did prepare me. He was a great role model. I became a teacher and coach because of him, so I am very thankful. He wanted me to branch out. He didn't want me to come back to Skyline. He said go forge your own path."

Berger is also thankful to his fellow coaches at Highland, where he was an assistant coach since 2016.
