Shelley Girls Basketball scores road victory at Bonneville District 6 First Round
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Shelley Russets are moving on in the 4A District 6 Tournament, as the Russets took down the Bonneville Bees Tuesday night 45-41.
The difference was a 7-0 run by the Russets at the end of the first half, highlighted by a great pass by Mia Williams to Kya Madsen for a layup.
Shelley led by seven at the half and held on for a five-point victory.
Next up, Shelley faces Skyline on the road Thursday night while Bonneville hosts Hillcrest. Both games tip off at 7:00 p.m.
