Skyline Girls Basketball holds on to a late lead to take down Shelley 55-52

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Skyline Grizzlies are moving on in the 4A District 6 Tournament thanks to a close 55-52 win Thursday night over the Shelley Russets.

Skyline took a 28-16 lead to the halftime break, but Shelley made this a close one late.

However, the Grizzlies held the lead to come out on top.

Next up, Skyline travels to Blackfoot Saturday to battle for a spot in the district championship while Shelley plays again Saturday night.
