Blackfoot Girls Basketball advances to district title game with 58-46 victory over Skyline

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) - The defending 4A state champions are one step closer to returning to the state tournament, as the Blackfoot Broncos advanced to the district 6 championship Saturday night with a 58-46 win over the Skyline Grizzlies.

The Broncos led 19-13 in the second quarter, and continued to add to the advantage with baskets from Hadley Humphreys and Kianna Wright.

The Broncos ultimately won by a dozen to take down the Grizz.

Next up, Blackfoot hosts the district 6 title game Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. while Skyline will play Monday with another chance to reach that match.
