Thunder Ridge Girls Basketball advances to states by winning the 5A District 5-6 Title

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Thunder Ridge Titans are heading to states, as the Titans won a good battle Tuesday in the 5A district 5-6 title game against the Rigby Trojans 60-49.

Thunder Ridge got a great performance from Kennedy Stenquist, who completed a full-court pass to start the scoring and faked another pass to score another bucket.

The Titans won by 11 points and return to the state tournament after finishing as the runner-up in last year's tournament.

Meanwhile, Rigby still has a chance to make states, as the Trojans host Idaho Falls Thursday with the winner heading to the state tournament.
