Idaho Falls Boys Basketball defeats Bonneville in overtime 59-58

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho Falls Tigers won a thriller in the bee hive Wednesday night, spoiling the Bonneville Bees' Senior Night with a 59-58 overtime victory.

It was back and forth all game and Merit Jones hit the game-winning basket in overtime to seal the win.

Next up, Idaho Falls gets ready for districts while Bonneville travels to Shelley Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

This was also an important game in the community, as Bonneville High School, District 93 and fans helped raise money for Tulla Fern-Duncan and here family. Tulla was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer, a spinal tumor called chordoma in December, and she is scheduled to undergo surgery to remove the tumor next month.
