ISU Women’s Basketball pulls away late for a 79-62 victory against Eastern Washington

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho State Bengals are putting together another win streak, and ISU took down the Eastern Washington Eagles Saturday 79-62 in a closer game than the final score.

Eastern Washington made it a one-point game early in the second half, but the Bengals stormed back and pulled away for the win.

Tomekia Whitman and Callie Bourne each played fantastic games, as Whitman scored 22 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double while Bourne tallied 17 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double. Bourne finished just three assists shy of a triple-double.

Next up, Idaho State travels to Northern Colorado Thursday at 12:00 p.m.
