Teton Girls Basketball advances to states with 65-47 win against Gooding

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Teton Timberwolves are heading to the 3A state tournament thanks to a great win at Pocatello High School Saturday afternoon 65-47 over the Gooding Senators.

The three ball proved to be key early on for the Timberwolves, with first quarter trifectas from Morgan Johnson, Tatum Streit and Grace Hogan.

Teton used the hot shooting early to win by 18 points and advance to states.

Next up, Teton will be the three seed in the state tournament and face Fruitland in the first round Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at Eagle High School.
